Consumer Credit Counseling of New Hampshire and Vermont

Founded in 1972, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Hampshire and Vermont aims to provide expert and professional to consumers facing problems in managing their finances. Founded as a non-profit agency by a group of NH community bankers, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Hampshire and Vermont is a community service organization providing unbiased service to its customers.

Financial issues

The areas with which CCCS of NH & VT deals with are managing personal finances of people. The pool of problems and issues can range from money management problems, individual budgeting issues, credit, and debt troubles as well as larger scale issues such as reverse mortgages and bankruptcy.

Debt Management

CCCS of NH & VT provides credit and debt counseling. Additionally, it also offers a Debt Management Program to help guide consumers through credit and debt repayment plans. Credit Card companies have approved these programs and Case managers at the agency ensure smooth management of repayment plans. All of this is offered at a low monthly service fee.

Counseling

CCCS of NH & VT also caters its customers through bankruptcy counseling, housing counseling and reverse mortgage counseling. A distinguishing feature of CCCS of NH & VT is that it provides all counseling free of charge along with free educational programs. The only exception is the bankruptcy counseling which is provided at a minimum monthly charge.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service has a target aim of making consumers stand on their own feet. CCCS of NH & VT believes that through empowerment, management and a strong sense of responsibility, consumers can take charge of their own lives and steer it to achieve their aims and goals the way they want.
